27 September 2023- Celebration of the rebirth of the London club and 120 years of the Lyceumclub;

With great emotion, in the prestigious premises of the Royal Air Force club, which housed the first Lyceumclub, the celebration of the re-creation of the Lyceumclub of London took place. The event was rounded off by a moving talk by Constance Smedley’s niece, Diane Armfield, a renowned painter who shared some of her aunt’s personal memories, and a talk by Mrs Helen Whittaker, a master glassworker and member of the club, who created the stained glass windows of the Royal Air Force Club.

The afternoon was followed by a concert by a renowned pianist and soprano, a member of the club, and a gala dinner during which a number of speeches emphasised the values of the Lyceum, and the importance of the commitment of its members, who are its wealth.
